OSHACampus.com Offers LEED Green Associate Exam Prep

How green was my valley? That was a question asked a long time ago by Richard Llewellyn in his novel by the same title, but today virtually the same question is finding resonance among green advocates and ordinary homeowners who want to live in an environment that’s clean, sustainable, and green.
Luckily for the environment, even contractors have gone (or are going) green nowadays and have become in their own ways stalwarts of the greening of the modern world, thanks in no small measure to LEED green training such as the LEED Green Associate Exam Prep from 360training.com, a leading e-learning hub.
LEED, formally known as the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, provides building owners and operators with a template for implementing building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions that are practicable, environmentally sound, and that encourage sustainability.
The LEED Green Associate Exam Prep is a preparatory course for the LEED Green Associate Exam; passing the latter entitles the examinee to one of LEED’s coveted professional credentials, the LEED Green Associate.

Green Associate Exam Prep, according to 360training.com, is fully online and covers all green and LEED fundamentals, including:

  • Green resources
  • Energy performance
  • Heating and cooling systems
  • Costs of building green
  • Materials and resources
  • Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
  • LEED rating systems
  • LEED Green Associate exam
Kenter cited observations made by Danielle Stone, an associate with Blaney McMurtry LLP, to illustrate the changing times. “We haven’t seen a lot of cases involving LEED-igation or sustainable building projects, but we know they’re coming,” stated Stone. “In the United States since 2007, there have been about 13 cases related to sustainable building.”
To avoid LEED-tigations this early, Stone has offered some tips to builders:
  • Determine which party is responsible for administering the LEED certification process.
  • Determine who is responsible if a project fails to achieve LEED certification and what sort of damages may result from such a failure.
  • Determine any ongoing obligations relating to the operation and maintenance of buildings.
  • Define who bears responsibility for the loss of certification from third parties.
OSHACampus.com, a 360training.com portal, provides access to the complete LEED Green Associate Exam Prep program.
